Last month I had to travel to Jabalpur, to attend a seminar on hotel management. According to the given schedule, I had to deliver speeches on various topics of hotel management and this seminar was supposed to be attended by many hotel management students, from various institutes all over India. So I was excited about this program and prepared thoroughly for this tour.

As Jabalpur is only around 500 Km from my hometown Indore, I decided to take train journey for this distance. So I booked online an AC-2 Tier train ticket in Narmada Express, for my upcoming tour and soon I got the confirmation mail of my booking. I also surfed through the internet and found the 4-Star Hotel Satya Ashoka, in Jabalpur to be fitting as per my requirements and budget. So immediately, I booked hotel accommodation here, for 3 nights and 4 days, from the date of my arrival in Jabalpur.
Enjoyed my trip while traveling on Narmada Express
I chose to travel in Narmada Express because this train runs daily between Indore and Bilaspur and thus, the availability of the seats were much easier. I particularly enjoyed the tasty foods provided by the catering department of the train. The coffee served was also up to the expectation and I received the meal pretty soon, after I ordered. The train compartments were very clean and had a healthy environment, unlike some other daily passenger trains. So I had no option for regretting on my decision of travelling in this train.

Enjoyable amenities offered to the guests in Hotel Satya Ashoka
My train journey was of more than 16 hours and I arrived in Jabalpur on the evening of the scheduled date. I was very tired and headed directly for my hotel. On the first look at the hotel, I was very impressed and was satisfied for my decision of booking hotel room here, as I was content about my successful online train ticket booking.

It was a huge 4-Star hotel, with 50 rooms and large open spaces in the hotel compound. It was conveniently located only at a distance of 10Km from the Jabalpur Railway Station and my seminar venue was at walking distance from this hotel. But I was happier for the entertaining amenities provided by this hotel authority.
- All the rooms were provided with air conditioning system, flat-screened TV, telephone, tea/coffee maker and free Wi-Fi internet services; along with regular room services.
- There is a fitness center and swimming pool in the hotel compound, where I could relax after my seminar hours. I also enjoyed the service of the beauty parlor, running in this same ground.
- There were also a conference hall and a banquet hall, which were known to be hired by different companies, for holding their corporate meetings and parties. The conference room was provided with audio visual equipments and a projector that were used for meeting purposes.
- There was also a multi-cuisine restaurant, where many delicious Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes were available for the hotel guests. There was also a café and a bar, quite close to this restaurant.
- Free parking and 24-hours customer service were available for the guests, who were checking in this hotel.
